Why has nobody ever gone 38-0-0?
In Ligue 1, only one team has ever gone through a full season unbeaten: FC Nantes 1994-95, 21 wins and 17 draws, 38 matchdays without defeat. It was called "the invincibles". But nobody, ever, has won all 38 matches. Not Mbappé's PSG, not Papin's Marseille, not Juninho's Lyon. 38-0-0 does not exist.
Since 2023-24, Ligue 1 has only 18 clubs: a perfect season is now 34 wins in 34 matchdays. Our simulator lets you choose: relive the legend in 38 matchdays against 19 historic opponents, or challenge modern Ligue 1 in 34 matchdays.
You'll draft legends (Nantes 95, Lyon's seven titles, OM 93, Monaco 2017, PSG 2023, Saint-Étienne in the 70s), manage the locker room at 5-8 key moments, and receive your own newspaper front page. The odds of a 38-0-0 with a dream squad? About 1 in 80. Your turn.
