Bonus: Attack +1, Control +0.5. The Ligue 1 classic: three forwards, a midfield trio, a four-man defense. Ideal for world-class wingers like Messi or Neymar.

4-4-2: pragmatism

Bonus: Attack +0.5, Defense +0.5, Control +0.5. The most balanced system, perfect for a double striker like Mbappé + Ibrahimović.

4-2-3-1: control

Bonus: Attack +0.5, Defense +0.5, Control +1. A double pivot protects, a playmaker creates. Zidane's Real Madrid formation, and PSG's Verratti-era system.

3-5-2: density

Bonus: Attack +0.5, Defense +1, Control +0.5. Three center-backs and wing-backs: Italy's 2006 World Cup formation.

3-4-3: audacity

Bonus: Attack +1, Defense -0.5, Control +0.5. All-out attack. Reserve it for ultra-offensive teams.

5-3-2: the bunker

Bonus: Attack -0.5, Defense +1.5. The most solid defense in the game. Perfect for grinding out survival or a counter-attacking title.

Position fit

A player at his natural position plays at 100% of his value, adjacent position 85%, same line 70%, elsewhere 50%. A goalkeeper out of goal is only worth 25%: choose carefully.
